Step 1: Familiarize yourself with the keyboard's notes


When you first glance at the keyboard, you might assume there are a lot of notes to learn. But it is much simpler than it appears: you only need to master 12 notes! The notes on this keyboard are divided into 6 groups of 12 notes each. Each group has 7 white keys and 5 black keys.


Step 2: Train your arms and hands with proper positioning


The first step in online learning piano is to keep your arms and hands in the right-hand position. The "C Position" is the natural cupped shape they create when left hanging by your side.

This is the exact position you must maintain while placing your arms and hands on top of the keys. While doing so, keep your wrists and forearms straight.


Step 3:Understand Your Notes

Learning to play the piano entails learning a new language: music. It's similar to how you originally learned the alphabet, but in this instance, you'll memorize it. With consistent repetition, you'll have these memorized in no time.


The Do-Re-Mi melody is a nice place to start. Beginning with note C, each of them symbolizes a note on the piano. It will assist you in determining the pitch of the notes as well as learning which keys to press on the piano.
